Since the foundation of the JAAN Welfare centre for Caddy Horses, the centre also has housed many other rescued animals, including offering temporary shelter for cats and dogs as well in emergency situation.

All these animals were rescued and nursed back to health by JAAN and the horse owners and riders that stay at the JAAN ‘Caddy Horse Welfare Centre ‘Puri’. JAAN educates all people and visitors here to care for all animals.

For example a kitten named “Tompel’ was rescued by a young boy named Tompel, aged 11, who found the kitten in the middle of the bus way. The poor cat would certainly have been run over by a car or bus if Tompel hadn’t rescue her from the street. ‘Bang miling’ an older horse owner, found four baby kittens that had been dumped in the rubbish bin when he was out collecting grass for his horses. many other rescued cats were brought to ‘Puri’  All animals are cared for by the veterinary team from JAAN and staff and in good condition.
