Help needed ASAP (Adopted)

A friend of JAAN and true animal lover, contacted us a couple of days ago telling us about a neglected pup in their neighborhood that is caged 24/7.
Then yesterday they contacted us again and told us that the pup had been dumped in their garden!
It is really impossible for this caring family to keep this pup long term since they have 5 rescued dogs of their own (and several cats!) that not all get a long.
some of the dogs need to be separated from eachother which is obviously not an easy situation.
| Here is the story from the family who is taking care of the pup right now : |
As far as we know, this puppy, though approximately 4-6 months old, doesn’t even have a name. Adopted by a family who’s young daughters longed for a puppy, he was treated well and played with for a short while – he was then placed in an old garbage bin that had been turned into a cage on the road, measuring 65 cm in depth, 45 cm in height and only 40 cm in width. |
|---|---|
| He was left unattended with minimal human contact.
There he slept, ate and lived in his own urine and poo on the cement floor, for a month. Left alone, he was obviously depressed and sad. He has been rescued and desperately needs a new, proper home. |
|
| Even though he was kept in a cage, he is playful and kind; not at all shy or aggressive.
He craves human company and loves to play with a tennis ball and be cuddled. He is a good size to sit on your lap: about 45 cm from tail to head, and 30 cm tall, and very light. Please help us show him what a real home, and real love, is like. |
