Meet Loca! Loca was rescued from the street by a friend of JAAN, after being hit by a car around 1.5 years ago. After partly recovering at a different clinic, Loca was adopted by JAAN as he was he was impossible to handle, he was very aggressive towards humans as well as other dogs. Because of his severity of aggression, his rehabilitation progress has been slow. Our first goal was that he would tolerate people going in and out of his enclosure and overall being around him. Check ups and washes were impossible without sedating him first, let alone simply touching him. Now after a 1.5 years, Loca shares his enclosure with another dog and also socialises well in small groups! he is happy to be aroumd certain people, can be touched:stroked and today for the first time Loca could be washed without being sedated first! He was relaxed and cooperative !! Some dogs take very long to be rehabilitated but at JAAN we dont give up and are determined to make it work! Ini Loca! Loca direscue dari jalanan oleh kawan JAAN, setelah ia ditabrak mobil sekitar 1.5 tahun yg lalu. Setelah mulai pemulihan di beberapa klinik, Loca diadopsi oleh JAAN karena ia sangat sulit untuk dihandle, Loca sangat sangat agresif pada manusia dan anjing lain. Karena cenderung agresif, proses rehabilitasi nya sangtlah lambat. Target pertama kami adalah membuat nya bisa membiasakan diri oleh manusia yang jalan di sekitarnya. Awalnya sangat mustahil untuk memeriksa dan memandikannya tanpa dibius karena disentuh saja tidak mau. Kini setelah 1.5 tahun, Loca berbagi kandang besar dg anjing lain dalam kelompok kecil. Kini ia senang berada dekat beberapa orang, dan bisa dielus disayang. Dan untuk pertama kalinya Locw bisa mandi tanpa dibius! Dia tenang dan koperatif! Beberapa anjing memang ada yg butuh waktu lama untuk direhabilitasi. Tetapi di JAAN kami tidak menyerah untuk berhasil!
