This handsome boy is Jonas! He was found in a Government pound where he was so weak that he could barely stand up and was extremely afraid of people. After being with us for awhile and becoming more and more healthy, we noticed straight away that his personality is actually really sweet. Even though he is still nervous around new people, luckily it is easy to win his heart by just giving him a snack! 😉 He would be suitable for a home that can help boost his confidence a bit aswell as lots of love! This is Barney. He was living in a garbage dump in Sunter area, with 4 other dogs before being rescued by JAAN. They were not in good shape & we were worried they wouldn’t make it. He is now happy, handsome & healthy as ever! He is pretty easygoing and will fit in anywhere as long as he has love!
Meet Jo & JIll. These 2 gorgeous girls are sisters and were found on a Government compound not in the best condition. We fear they may have died if we had not of rescued them. They are healthy, well trained and although a bit shy at first but once comfortable are super loving. Their relationship is so cute as they always need each other by their sides. They are both neutered, vaccinated and good with kids. Perfect for any family! We would live for them to find a new home together!
Meet Larry. Poor Larry was rescued from a dog meat restaurant. Before it was his turn JAAN rescued him and he has become such a handsome boy. He is very relaxed and once comfortable, incredibly sweet!
Jolie was sadly beaten up by construction workers & it took her a long time to come around & be fully healthy. Now she is very sweet & playful but needs awhile to get to know you. Once you have learnt her trust, she is a lovely dog to have!
Look at that face! Meet our boy Bart! He was rescued right in front of a Dog Meat Restaurant with his brother, Larry. They were both in still in the white bag (karung beras) ready to be slaughtered. He is mellow and has a sweet personality. He is vaccinated and neutered and loves to play with his brother and other dogs. Overall he is a beautiful, nice dog and would be a great companion! Meet Ozzie! Ozzie loves affection. When she was rescued she was covered in ticks, extremely malnourished & under weight. She immediately put her paw on the person who rescued her as if to say ‘thank you’. Ozzie is a beautiful, young princess who really just wants cuddles & love all day, she is great with other cats, dogs & LOVES people, young or old. Ozzie would be a perfect addition to any loving family
Meet Oreo! He has a soft personality & is extremely affectionate & sweet. Being his personality, Oreo is not much of a ‘pack’ dog & can get overwhelmed. That’s why we know he would absolutely flourish in a lovely family home, with a calm environment, where he can get all the attention & love he deserves.

This is little Queenie. She was found sitting next to a busy road in Sukabumi. She had a horrible skin condition and would not have survived if she was not rescued as she was too little and weak to take care of herself. She is now happy, healthy and easy going. Some of you may remember Lucky .. He was rescued after living in a concrete garbage area in front of his ‘owners’ house for years. He had a heavy chain around his neck, with a lock on it that weighed a total of 7 kgs! The top left photo is a before picture.
Lucky is now a happy & healthy boy & looking for his forever home! He is vaccinated, neutered, very friendly & loves affection!
Bono is one of our bigger, beautiful males. He has a fluffy coat & is quite a large mix breed. He has a great personality & is extremely active. He loves the other dogs & would be best suited for a home with heaps of space & many other dogs as he just loves ‘running with the pack’.
Melly, along with her sisters & mother, were previously owned by a very uncaring person. After the mother had given birth to Melly & her sisters she was then chained, by the leg outside the house & once Melly & her sisters grew older, they were also changed by their legs as well. The chains around their legs caused bad wounds & once the owner got ‘bored’ of all of them they then asked the local dog meat restaurant to pick them up. Luckily, their neighbour felt sorry and immediately contacted us! Melly has now grown into a pretty little lady & loves attention! She is still quite small for an adult dog but has a big heart & loves cuddles!

Besse along with 4 other Dogs, was rescued by JAAN in Sunter. They lived in a garbage dump & were not in good shape when we rescued them. Unfortunately Besse & her 2 other brothers fell sick with distemper. Her brother Bill passed away, Bob recovered nicely and Besse herself has recovered, but she had problems with her nerves which has left them slightly damaged.
Other then that, she is healthy & luckily, this damage has not been too much of a burden for her so far. Besse is extremely sweet & will do great in a home where she would be alone. If her forever family can accept her ‘twitch’ caused by the distemper she would make a great companion as she loves affection & cuddles!
Meet MIA! Another one of our sweet JAAN babies. Mia, her sisters and mum were on their way to a dog meat restaurant but luckily JAAN was able to rescue them in time. It gives us shivers to think about what may have happened to them. She is a female, around 1.5 both sterilized and neutered. Mia is confident but very calm and just loves to be close with people. She just has to be near some one all the time and just enjoys human company. Same dog, different care. Jeff was found on the side of the road with Timmy after their previous owner put them there as he didn’t want to catch the scabies that the 2 dogs were developing. After being rescues Jeff is now happy & extremely healthy. Although he is still quite shy and doesn’t like to be touched, once he is comfortable he is an absolute sweetheart & will make a great companion. Email us if you’re interested in this handsome boy!
Remember Fin who was left by his owners & waited infront of the house for 3 months? Well Fin has been doing very well at our headquarters! He settled in fast & joined our pack within days. Fin usually needs a couple of minutes to get to know you first, but once he knows you are okay he is very sweet & very affectionate. Although Fin settled in very fast, he did have some issues with some of the other male dogs in particular. He thought he could take over the ‘general manager’ position, but the pack did not agree 😂He still tends to become a bit bossy if a new male dog joins the pack, but with the right guidance he is fine. Besides that, in general its pretty amazing that all our dogs can live happily in a pack. Our big pack (besides a couple of smaller packs) consists of 54 dogs so all are pretty well socialized & tolerant with the right guidance.Fin is also up for adoption & is missing is a loving family who will take Fin in & never abandon him. He is healthy, smart & loves people!
Meet little Rafi! He is a sweet and calm little boy. Rafi and his brothers and sisters were rescued from a place where they had too many dogs and could not take care of them. All were traumatized and needed a lot of socialization to get them to trust people again. Now they are super lovable and looking for a new home! Yes this is the same dog! Timmy was found with Jeff in shocking condition after their owner decided to put them on the other side of the road, for his Tyre shop, when they started to get scabies as he was afraid he was going to catch it as well.

Meet Barry. This handsome boy was born on the streets behind a hospital. He was living there with his parents & family, one big pack. The hospital started to renovate their facilities & one by one the Dogs stated to disappear, except for Barry. Luckily a kind lady contacted us as she felt sorry for him. When we rescued Barry he had also been hit by a car a week before, but thankfully he has recovered well & is looking for his forever home! He is very easy going, gets along well with other dogs, so he will fit in anywhere. He is also super cuddly .. Everything you want in a dog!
