I am Alfo, the first rescued dancing monkey from the Bandung area in 2016
when the ban was finally put in place, on dancing monkeys in the West Java Province.
I am a big, strong male with a heart of gold & around 5 years of age. I was rescued when i acted as a dancing monkey in the center of Bandung city. I was very ill, I suffered from a worm infection &
malnutrition. I depressed & stressed. I had my teeth clipped by the handlers which caused infections & pain in my mouth. I am in quarantine already at the JAAN center. I am now being socialized to other rescued monkeys & undergoing my procedure to be rehabilitated.
